What Do You Think?

I haven't been blogging a lot lately because life stepped in and became crazy. I usually enjoy reading all your blogs and leaving little comments but lately my life just seem to be filled up with "stuff". Anyway one of the things I have been wanting to do was update our family picture. For months I have been asking my husband to show me how to use the scanner so I could scan this picture. Well he finally did and now it looks so outdated because everyone has changed so much in the last couple of years. Trying to pin everyone down for a family shot has been painful, not to mention the "ah, mom, do we have to?" objections. Anyway I would really love to have your feedback as to what you think and just to make it easier, I'll post another one of the kids that was taken at their great-grandfather's funeral a year ago. This was the one the one taken last year and as you can see, there's a big difference in their looks.

Aww what a great picture! So nice that you could get everyone together...can't be easy where there are teenagers in the mix!!

Lesley, those are great pictures of your family. The first one looks like it could be a GAP ad! Hahaha! I'd love to have a photo with my entire family...maybe I will suggest it while I'm home at Christmas. Sonja is right though, good luck getting all your teenagers on board with the idea. I definitely wouldn't have cared when I was their age (gosh that makes me feel so old) but I appreciate my family so much more now, and especially where I'm living abroad I'd love to have a nice picture of all of us together. I say drag them all if you have to! Or bribe them!

I love that one with the boys in the tree! I'm so glad I'm not the only one with a hubby that avoids Family Portraits like the plague. We are actually taking some today....after 3 years of not taking any! I hope they turn out and that Aaron smiles in at least 1 of em...LOL!
