It's Great To Be Eight!!!!

2008 will go down as the year of the birthday parties, starting with Raven's. She turned eight on April 04. She is the last of our 6 babies getting baptized. She wanted to have some friends over but as it turned out she had her cousins instead. It wasn't your typical birthday party of course. We started off with the most important activity, which was the gift-opening.

This was from her big sister Tiffani. It was really soft.

The make-up kit was part of the Blinn family(her cousins) gift. Logan was very curious about the whole get-up.

This was also from her cousins. Kaelyn and Madison also have the same dress. I think that would be a great picture with the three girls!

It was Madlyn's turn to help out with the gifts.

This was priceless! Raven had wanted this teddy bear for a long time. To her, it was better than a "build-a-bear". Well guess what?

This is the "crew". Savannah was at work. She joined us later. Can you imagine if all of Raven's friends were there too? I didn't even invite the rest of her cousins because I knew they would be coming to her baptism schedule for a later date.

This was the kids with Emmanuel, Tiffani's boyfriend. He has become part of the family. We call him Mani, for short. What a great guy! We absolutely love him.

This is the Blinn family. Ronnie, Denise, Logan, Kaelyn & Madlyn. Denise is Darren's sister, in case you didn't catch the resmblance. We spend a lot of time with these guys. I met Denise shortly after meeting Darren eighteen years ago. We were all single-adults back then. Time sure have flown!

This is my most favorite picture of all the "birthday" pictures. I love seeing my husband and his "daddy's little girl"!

Uncle Darren with the "boys". Hard to believe that Angus and Logan are the same age. Angus looks like he's sixteen.

Uncle Darren and his nieces, Madlyn and Kaelyn.
